The Permissibility of Eating Chicken Meat
[375] Narrated Zahdam Once, while we were sitting with Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (Radi Allahu Anhu), there was brought to him a meal which contained chicken meat, and there was sitting beside him, a man from the tribe of Bani Taimul-lah who looked like one of the Mawali. Abu Musa said to the man “come and then eat”. Abu Musa said to him (again), “Come along because indeed I saw the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu alayhi wa sallam) eat it.” Narrated in Bukhari in a lengthy hadith
